WELCOME TO OUR NEW BLOG!
Now that we are well into the new Year we thought it was about time we stuck to one of our 2017 resolutions here at Bodysocks – starting a Blog! Every month we will keep you updated with the latest news here at our HQ, everything from our favourite photo of the month to introducing you to the latest costumes to arrive here at our South Wales base. We hope you enjoy catching up with us and if you have any ideas for the blog then please drop us a message!
FAN PHOTO OF THE MONTH
Our favourite photo this month has to be this one sent into our Facebook by Denise Barby. A lot of effort obviously went into this Jamaican Bobsleigh team costume, so much so that Denise’s 82 Year old mother even came along as their coach, fantastic effort!

NEW YEARS DAY SWIM
It was around November 2016 when we received a message asking if we could help with the famous New Years Day swim held in Saundersfoot. We, of course, jumped at the opportunity to contribute to this fantastic event which seems to get bigger and better every year.

The ‘Cold Cup’ is a brilliant feature on the day and involved 8 locals each representing a different pub based in Saundersfoot, they only had one thing missing, animals to race on! We were delighted to be able to supply some of our inflatable animal costumes to the race. The race itself was great fun and the feedback we received back from some of the spectators regarding our costumes certainly made it all worthwhile.
We’d like to thank the organisers for giving us the chance to get involved and can hopefully look forward to a different range of costumes being displayed in the 2018 ‘Sand National’.

ELLY'S WARD 10 FLAG APPEAL
We were very touched by a visit from a local hero back in November. Elly is a very inspiring young girl who has raised a staggering amount of money for 'Ward 10' at our local hospital in Haverfordwest. Elly’s father Lyn got in touch with us about donating a costume to the cause and we didn’t hesitate in inviting Elly round to our warehouse and offering her a children’s inflatable dinosaur costume, which judging by Elly’s face, she loved it! KIDS COSTUMES
After Seeing the joy on young Elly's face we were inspired to expand our Children’s range! Coming in March this year we have an expanded range of ride on inflatable costumes which kids will love! With a mixture of farmyard, safari and mythical animals we are sure to have a costume your child will love riding around for hours on end! We also have hilarious Musclemen and Sumo costumes which will steal all the laughs at your child’s next big party!

RUGBY
And finally….
We couldn’t leave this blog without mentioning the up and coming Six Nations. We are very excited for the feast of rugby we will be treated to over the next few weeks and are hoping Wales can finish at the top! For all the Welsh fans out there we have the perfect costume for the big games! Our inflatable dragon costume is only £29.99 and is a great way to show off your love for the boys in red!
